Including All-Girls Teams!

"Club ball" or "travel ball" refers to private, competitive baseball, which focuses on player development, usually at a more competitive level than recreational leagues like Little League. The coaches are paid, not volunteers. There are monthly club dues and separate fees for tournaments. There may be a tryout to make the team and playing time is usually based on performance and not guaranteed.
Club teams usually participate in weekly or bi-weekly tournaments run by organizations such as USSSA and NCS. These may be a few hours away from home and take place over the entire weekend.
